The Lost Art of Documentation

How do you return to a project or a code base and remember your design patterns, data organization and where all the application’s objects live and how they communicate with each other? The larger the project the more of an issue this becomes especially with multiple designers and developers. It also applies to a sole developer like me who will release an app into production and then not return to it until a new feature is needed or a change is required to keep up with the ever changing requirements of the app stores.

 

So, in anticipation of adding the two new Memory Match image collections to my “The Art of Recall” app here’s the ERD (entity relationship diagram) and the Unity app architecture. And as soon as I get a free weekend, I’ll get the app updated and re-released with the new images!
