For more than a decade I've helped clients present their best face to the world using a variety of content management systems (CMS).

I believe in innovation, creativity and good communication when working with clients and am experienced in all phases of website development projects whether I'm designing and developing web sites for small citizen science projects or for organizations that serve tens of thousands of visitors.

Content Management Systems

I specialize in helping businesses achieve their marketing and communication goals using the tools and technology with which they feel most comfortable. I recommend technology solutions that match your preferences and abilities. To this end I develop sites in Commonspot with Coldfusion, WordPress, Joomla and Drupal (PHP) and the Kartra website marketing platform.

I optimize websites for desktop and mobile devices and maintain the systems I develop providing technical and user documentation.

Many businesses have limited time to maintain their sites, their content, their social media posts and want an easy way to manage their digital communications. I’m very familiar with integrating Facebook posts and event calendars into WordPress and Joomla. This integration allows a business to maintain its news and events in one place and not have to add or update them a second time in another system.

Teamwork & Collaboration

I am equally at home serving as an independent designer and developer and as a team member and I thrive in an environment where I work with a creative group. I use Zoom, Skype, email, Slack, Dropbox, Github, Dropbox, Google Drive and Jira to keep in touch and share documents.

I develop enterprise grade web software solutions. I’ve worked with Cornell University as application programmer, web designer/developer, web master and as an independent contractor. I developed a college application system for Wells College and I worked with local educational organizations like The Discovery Trail and The History Trail in Ithaca, NY to design and develop their web sites and support their educational missions.
