Day 3: The Full High Peaks Test

By this point I’m feeling pretty good, reasonably confident, a bit sore, but testing wouldn’t be complete without a full test of the app.

In my current Itinerary I planned the Cascade summit for today (5/28/25). Back on the app’s home scene I started the hike which showed on the “Today” list.

I took photos along the way and at the summit that I attached to my “Summit Journal” for the peak and added trip notes (see video below).

Once I reached the summit I used the “Stamp Summit” button on the home scene to record the achievement. This also creates a “summit stamp” graphic that can be shared via email or social media to celebrate the accomplishment. Cell service was not available so the weather forecast at the time of the summit couldn’t be recorded, but current GPS location, date, time were.

Of course I tested the 360 View again.

Back at the trailhead I used the “End Hike” button on the home scene to record the hike’s end date and time and close the hike.

Finally I shared the hike via email and message and included the dates, times, summit stamp, photos, and notes. The shared email is long so the images below show the it in four parts.

~ End of Day 3 ~

Testing complete. Next Steps:

• Small updates from testing results

• App Store Updates: text and marketing, new release versions

• Release the app!
